Jupiter entering Aquarius

On 5th January 2009, at 5:41 p.m. Jupiter will move into Aquarius, where it will stay until January 2010.

Jupiter in Aquarius encourages the preoccupation for humanitarian actions, unions, mutual assistance, associations based on shared ideals, progress, emancipation, renewal and modernization, rare, exotic, original and weird activities, disciplines and conceptions.

It lends a considerable amount of idealism that can take utopian or excessive shapes due to the almost continuous conjunction with Neptune. Jupiter brings along good luck, optimism and trust, but it can also lose control of it.

Aquarius people have to take advantage of its gifts prudently, and along with Leo, Taurus and Scorpio, to be careful not to lose touch with earth.

To a limited extent, but with no fear of side effects, Gemini, Libra, Aries and Sagittarius can benefit from it as well.
